Summer Solstice: The Seven Rejoices of Mary

This is my offering for the Summer Solstice. The night of the year when the Earth in the Northern Hemisphere receives the blessing of the most hours of sunlight.

11 years ago there was a special celebration held on Findhorn Beach, Scotland by a small group of 7, who had successfully completed a long period of intense spiritual mission working together, culminating on the summer solstice. Here are two pictures of us all taken at around 11 pm and what follows is a beautiful song that I know they will all know as relevant.  Midsummer’s Day is the celebrated nativity of John the Baptist who baptised Jesus. The pronouncement from God was that this was His son in whom He was well pleased…Emmanuel…God Is With Us.
